Social Inclusion of young people Employment and Social Policy
The ‘Youth Guarantee’, adopted by the European Council in 2013, should ensure that all young people under the age of 25 should receive either a training apprenticeship or a job within four months of completing their education. This study examines the implementation of the Youth Guarantee programme in ten member states. It includes descriptions on the initial conditions for education and employment for young people; and concrete measures including their associated costs as well as their transferability. The results, experiences, conclusions and recommendations are summarised in a synthesis report.
