AGROPOL: Development of a European cross-border agribusiness model region

Agropol aims to build knowledge to increase cross-border cooperation in agriculture and agri-business. This is being implemented in two model regions (Portugal-Spain and Slovenia-Austria). It is important to find new cooperation methods between the relevant actors in different sectors along the value added chain in order to increase competitiveness. The findings identified over the development of the strategy and implementation of the projects in the model regions will be used to foster cross-border cooperation in this area in other European border regions.
